The story of L’Atelier Bakery is, above all, a tale of passion and reinvention.
Four years ago (2021), Julie and Romain, driven by a deep love for authentic products and artisan craftsmanship, decided to change their lives and devote themselves to baking.

Romain has been immersed in the world of bread-making since childhood, inheriting a family tradition where bread was crafted with patience and respect for ancestral techniques.
He learned to recognize the subtle aromas of different flours, master the art of kneading, and understand the secrets of slow fermentation.

Julie, psychologist on her side, has always been passionate about pastry-making.
Pastry Chef’s daughter, she learned how to creatively combine ingredients, highlight seasonal fruits, and create desserts that awaken the senses.

After working in the Paris region, Julie and Romain felt a call to return to their roots and a desire to create something more authentic.
They chose to leave their urban life and open their first bakery, Au Pain Qui Pense, in Héric (44).

But the desire to take their flavors on the road led them to settle in Treillières, and open their second bakery — a place where they could express their creativity and share their passion with the local community.

That is how L’Atelier Bakery was born — a warm and welcoming space where customers can rediscover the taste of homemade products, prepared with organic and locally sourced ingredients.
